Dentistry on 45th opened at their new location in January of 2009, but Dr. Taskov and her team have been providing dental care to Wasaga Beach and the surrounding communities for over fifteen years. Our priority is to deliver state-of-the-art dentistry for your entire famiy in a comfortable, caring and relaxing environment. With our new location, we have incorporated the latest technology available including digital xrays, laser dentistry and the latest sterilization techniques.

A Little About Our Dentists
Dr. Michaela Taskov
Dr Taskov, a Charles University in Prague graduate, has been practicing patient care oriented, progressive dentistry in Wasaga Beach since June 2000.
Dr. Taskov is a part time instructor at the University of Toronto, oral diagnosis. She is an active member of the Simcoe Muskoka as well as Halton Peel Dental Association. She is a member of the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club.
Her professional, yet gentle and caring approach to dentistry will make your visit an enjoyable one.
Dr. Mounir Elzokm D.D.S.
Dr. Elzokm earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Toronto, previously he completed his Bachelor Degree of Dental Surgery in Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Elzokm believes that patient education and motivation regarding patients dental needs is an important part of their comprehensive oral health. Dr. Elzolm is talented in making his patients feel relaxed and comfortable.
In his spare time , he enjoys the outdoors playing soccer and fishing with his 2 young boys.

Lisa Haigh, Office Manager
Lisa is a level II dental assistant with over 20 years of dental experience both clinical and administrative. Her extensive knowledge of dental procedures and dental insurance allows her to assist patients with any questions that they may have about their treatment.
In Lisa’s spare time, she is an avid fitness enthusiast and is a Can-fit pro qualified fitness instructor at Wasaga Beach Yoga, and most of all enjoys spending time with her family.
Nancy Hyndman, Patient Coordinator
Nancy prides herself on customer care and interaction with our patients and strives to ensure that everyone is treated with the utmost respect, as well as emphasizing a high level of patient comfort. Nancy’s background includes many years of retail sales management as well as client care. Originally born and raised in Collingwood, Nancy has now resided in Wasaga Beach for the past 25 years. In her time off she enjoys travelling, cooking, interior design and most of all, spending time with her family.
Blanche Johnston, Registered Dental Hygienist
Blanche joined Dr. Taskov’s dental team in January 2000 and brings with her 25+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is passionate about dentistry and is dedicated to her patients, making your dental hygiene visit positive, personal and a comfortable experience.
As an active member of various dental hygiene associations, Blanche has devoted herself to learning new concepts and technologies through continuous growth and education in a very exciting field of work.
Ellen Sproule, Registered Dental Hygienist
Ellen brings over 20 years of dental experience to Dentistry on 45th. After graduating from George Brown College in 1994 with a diploma in dental hygiene. She worked at several different practices before joining Dr. Taskov’s team in 2006. Ellen is a member in good standing with the CDHO and has her laser certification.
Ellen enjoys working in the friendly and compassionate atmosphere at Dentistry on 45th.
Nicole Ward Registered Dental Hygienist
Nicole joined Dr Taskov’s dental team in 2017. She graduated with honours in 2009 with a diploma in dental hygiene. Nicole is an active member of the ODHA . Nicole continues to keep up to date with changes in the dental field and new information with continuing education courses every year. When Nicole is not working, she is enjoying her time with her two young children.
Jacqueline Shuttleworth Registered Dental Hygienist
Jacqueline joined Dr. Michaela Taskov’s dental team in December 2016 and received her advanced diploma in dental hygiene at Georgian College in Barrie. Jacqueline first started at Dr. Taskov’s office as a patient 18 years ago and has now evolved into part of the team. Jacqueline is in good standing with the CDHO and is an active member of the Ontario Dental Hygienist association. She continues to broaden her knowledge in the dental field through continuing education courses and looks forward to taking care of your hygienic needs.
Kristine Egeland, Dental Assistant
Kristine has been working as a dental assistant for the past 20+ years and has been with Dr. Taskov’s practice since 2001.
Kristine enjoys spending time with family and friends and can be found most weekends in the summer at the beach enjoying the seadoos or stand up paddle boards.
Jesse Henriksen, Level II Dental Assistant
Graduating from the dental program at Everest College in 2009, Jesse received with great honor, her CDA Level II Diploma.
While being a part of Dentistry on 45th for the past 6 years, Jesse has acquired continuing knowledge and experience within all aspects of our procedures. Working closely alongside Dr. Taskov, she has built confidence in independently practicing preventative dentistry.
She thoroughly enjoys spending one-on-one interactions with our patients and simply loves to see people SMILE!!!
