Laser Therapy
Combined with comprehensive periodontal therapy, a diode laser for soft tissue procedures can remove and reduce some periodontal infection. This type of treatment also promotes reattachment of gum tissue to teeth. Laser dentistry is precise and conservative in comparison to traditional therapies. Some patients do not even need anesthesia during laser therapy.

Intra-oral Cameras/Computer Equipped Rooms
Many patients, especially the younger ones, are very familiar with technology. Dr. Taskov has utilized intraoral cameras and chair side computers in her practice to help with diagnosis, charting, treatment planning, and education.With clear, defined, enlarged images, taken with the intra-oral camera; technology allows our patients an opportunity to see their teeth and mouth, from our perspective, right on the computer screen. It also enables us to save these images in the patients' computerized chart.
Patient education videos can also be viewed chairside while you are in our office. If there are procedures or dental treatment that you would like information on… we are always happy to show you.
Digital Imaging
X-rays enable us to see where the human eye cannot. These are invaluable in diagnosing, treating, and maintaining good oral health. They help us to detect cavities, determine bone levels, examine the roots and nerves of the teeth, and diagnose lesions such as cysts, or tumors.Although exposure through dental x-rays is minimal, Dr. Taskov understands the importance and concern; which is why her office has invested in State of the Art Digital diagnosing, treating, and maintaining good oral health. They help us to detect imaging. This new technology reduces exposure is about 2/3 less than with traditional x-rays, it also enable us to not only store the patient images directly in their computer file, but also allows us to quickly transfer them to other specialists offices.
Out team will carefully discuss with our patients, prior to treatment, which and how often digital images are taken.
